In high school, Alexis was diagnosed with a brain tumor, inspiring her to study neuroscience at Duke. Now, Alexis’s outrageous ambition is being fueled by her work in Dr. Han Yan’s neuro-onco-genomics lab, where she researches glioblastoma brain tumors.
