As a Duke engineering undergraduate, Cassie is fascinated by the structure of animals and physiology. Now, Cassie’s outrageous ambition at Duke is being fueled by studying the jump performance of grasshoppers in the Patek Lab under postdoctoral research scholar Crystal Reynaga to better understand the gaps in current technology.
