Bass Connections and the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy announce a new theme, Health Policy & Innovation, to support interdisciplinary teams of faculty and students in their exploration of solutions to improve health and wellbeing in the United States.
The Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy will administer the theme, which will be led by Beth Gifford, associate research professor in the Sanford School of Public Policy and a Duke-Margolis core faculty member.
“The Bass Connections model facilitates the type of genuine partnerships and applied research necessary to address the complexities of the U.S. healthcare system and translate research into impact,” Gifford said. “I’m honored to be part of this new chapter in the life of the program and in the university’s efforts to improve health while preparing the next generation of public health leaders.”
