Seed grant helps big brain ideas grow bigger

The DIBS External Advisory Board pooled $100,000 to fund an additional Research Incubator Award, for a total of six awards granted this year.

With its long-standing commitment to excellence in interdisciplinary research and education, Duke is well-positioned to be at the forefront in advancing brain sciences.

The annual seed grants support innovative projects in neuroscience that are likely to attract follow-on funding. Researchers collaborating on the project will use groundbreaking technologies to identify promising new therapies for depression.
